The Sacred Art Of Metta
Join us for an immersive 50h Buddhist Meditation Teacher Training: Foundations of Metta and Mindfulness in a Buddhist Monastery in Indian Himalayas (Ladakh)
July 13–23. 2020
Embark on a life-changing journey to one of the most sacred spiritual places of Buddhist India – Ladakh, also known as “Little Tibet.” Immerse into a raw and powerful environment of mysterious Himalayas. Learn the art of Buddhist meditation and explore the heart of Buddhist wisdom while living in an inspiring community of Buddhist monks, nuns, and teachers.
Our 50h Buddhist Meditation Teacher Training is specially designed for spiritual seekers, meditation practitioners, Yogis, healers, researchers, mindfulness coaches, therapists, and curious pilgrims who want to learn the art of Buddhist meditation and discover the healing power of Metta Bhavana – an ancient Buddhist practice of cultivating loving-kindness and compassion towards yourself and other sentient beings.
The training will take place in one of the most beautiful monasteries on the planet – Thiksey monastery. We will start each day with a morning prayer, meditation and gentle Yoga. After breakfast, we will be immersed in an in-depth exploration of various practices of Buddhist meditation and the most essential teachings of Tibetan Buddhism. In the afternoons, we will be practicing “kindness in action” by offering selfless service in the monastery school, and have heart to heart conversations with the Buddhist teacher.
During the last few days of the training we will visit the majestic Pangong lake and participate in Green Tara Ruja – an ancient sacred ritual that helps to heal the body, purify the heart and remove both personal and spiritual obstacles.
- Buddhist Meditation and Philosophy with a Buddhist monk: sitting meditation, walking meditation, anti-stress meditation, meditation to overcome compulsive thinking, healing Metta meditation, visualization, unique Tibetan Buddhist meditations, mantra meditation, mindful breathing (anapanasati), insight meditation (vipassana), gratitude meditation, etc.
